Kanak Chaturvedi brings back memories of the Earthy and Rustic Voices of
yesteryears singers like Shamshaad Begum and Noor Jehan. Her classical base yet
easy rendition to the most difficult songs makes her a delight for connoisseurs
of music. Her musical journey started at an early age of 6yrs. Then for 8years
she trained in music at Bhat Khande Music College, Lucknow followed by around
two decades of learning the finer nuances of singing under Sri Prem Singh
Kinhot Ji. Simultaneously, she honed her Urdu pronunciation and learnt the art
of Ghazal singing under Sri Iqbal Siddiqui ji for 6 years.
Today Kanak is an energetic and vibrant singer who can easy dabble
between Ghazals, Sufi Geet, Folk Songs, Geet and has been hugely appreciated by
audiences across the globe. After numerous Solo- Shows in India, she is now
coming to Dubai to win the hearts of all music lovers.
