Strike a Pose and be Deira City Centre’s next ‘Style Star’
Deira City Centre’s ‘Style Star Search’ is open to everyone, and encourages shoppers to express their personal and unique sense of style. The event will be hosted in the Metro Link area, where a custom-built photo studio and red carpet will set the stage for the hunt for the most fashionable shopper. A Top 20 list will be selected by a team of fashion experts based on personal expression, individuality and style sense, which will be then posted on Deira City Centre’s social media pages for public vote. The winner with the most votes will be crowned ‘Style Star’ for 2014 on March 31st.

Shada Amjad Hassoun Alshamery better known as Shatha Hassoun, is an Arabic singer from both Iraqi and Moroccan ancestry, who rose to fame as the winner of the 4th season of the pan-Arab television talent show Star Academy Arab World. She was the first female to win the competition and currently one of the most popular singers in both the Middle East and Maghreb region, and is referred to as the "daughter of Mesopotamia.
