in rhythm-centric Buenos Aires - the
Tango.
It has never
been a better time to learn the Tango. From 1st July, a brand new monthly
social evening, ‘La Baldosa, will be
taking place at Dubai’s premier dance hot spot, James & Alex Dance Studios,
in the heart of Media City. ‘La Baldosa
will kick off at the studios from 9pm until midnight, where you can perfect
your tango moves and grooves.
What’s more, entry is completely free!
Studio founders,
James Castro and Alex de Smet, are two of Dubai’s most successful salsa
dancers. They are launching ‘La Baldosa
to bring the art of tango closer to those who want to dance in Dubai, and to
create a social scene around the famous dance.
The first event
of ‘La Baldosa will be hosted by
Tango dancer and instructor Gustavo Arboleda. Born in Columbia, Gustavo learned
to dance from a very early age before moving on to teach and perform
professionally, first in his home country and now in Dubai. ‘La Baldosa’ will feature a master class
from Gustavo, who will also give a performance to all those who come along to
the event.
