Bataller, the dashing owner of the magical SHA Wellness Clinic and Spa in Altea
Spain, in the Valencia region was in town this week for a series of glamourous
tastings of their outstanding gourmet macrobiotic offerings from their
signature restaurant SHAMADI. Former ‘El Bulli’ chef Pablo who was flown in
from Spain prepared an exquisite meal hosted by Cuadro Gallery owner Bashar Al
Shroogi which was attended by VIP art collectors and captains of industry at a
dramatic table set up in the gallery itself.
The
following evening, it was the elegant Faiza Rangoonwala who entertained at her
home in an equally dramatic al fresco setting. Dubai’s haute society marveled
at the exciting menu carefully prepared by Chef Pablo especially for the
evening. Macrobiotic certainly does not mean meagre, as the talented chef spun
culinary marvels to wow the diners. Alejandro Battaler introduced the magical
SHA property to the guests, and shared with them the extraordinary story of how
SHA was born.
Situated
in Albir Beach, nearby the picturesque town of Villa de Altea (Region of
Valencia) the wellness clinic SHA sits on a beautiful mountainside overlooking
the Mediterranean Sea. SHA Spa covers an area of more than 2,000 square meters
and has 93 suites for guests. It has 41 treatment rooms and spacious waiting
