Dubai based designer Dima Ayad puts ‘spring’ in our steps with her bold new Spring-Summer 2013 collection. Inspired by the contrast in her life and personality, her spring summer collection reflects the two sides of her very nature. An organized and focused businesswoman on the one hand; and a creative dreamer on the other. Defined and assured, part of the collection is a structured study in monochrome, with flashes of red and stripes highlighting the designs. The collection is contrasted with a range of fluid feminine looks, which are light and airy, and throw caution to the wind.

Striped silk chiffon in red, turquoise, yellow, peach and black is predominant in this collection, and is highlighted with nude silk organza with hints of gold. Black, white and red silk jersey are also used extensively in this collection, along with perennial lace
Along with her signature cocktail dresses, Dima has injected a large collection of long dresses and gowns into the collection, increasing the evening offering for the region’s numerous soirees.
