Chop, blend, bake, roast and exfoliate with Miele Culinary Experiences


Packed calendar of exclusive sessions through to year-end offers something for everyone from healthy menus and the secret to perfect cupcakes, to tapas, truffles and festive treats

Miele, one of the world’s leading producers of premium home appliances, is ramping up its weekly calendar of exclusive Culinary Experiences with three appetizing sessions a week, from October through to November.



Aspiring amateur foodies will have the chance to – literally – cook and eat their way around the world in the company the region’s top chefs, with sessions covering the gourmet delights of countries from all over, as well as special seasonal celebrations including Halloween and Christmas.
Held at the award winning state-of-the-art Miele Gallery on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road, the diverse line-up includes two sessions devoted to the hot topic of healthy eating.
Popular British culinary personality, Andy Campbell, serves up a locally-inspired menu on Tuesday 16th October with homemade saffron tortellini made with locally produced ricotta cheese and organic spinach and line-caught wild sea bass fillet with asparagus and a basil salsa.
“We need to nourish our bodies from the inside out, so to end the session I’ll be sharing my special secret recipe for a fruit, berry, oat and honey face mask designed to exfoliate and nourish the skin. It’s what keeps me looking young and beautiful!” he said.
For a kid-friendly session, Galeries Lafayette’s executive chef, Russell Impiazzi will show young amateur chefs how to make a delicious range of goodies including homemade bread, scones and biscuits at the ‘Back to Baking’ session on 6 October.
Marti Yanci, owner of local catering company, Marta’s Kitchen, also picks up on the health and wellness theme on Sunday 11th November, with a session aimed at busy executives looking for quick fix menu suggestions with a health-conscious angle. Her menu will feature baked Shari fish with fresh herbs and lime, and a spiced orange and chicken mini pot pie.
Tapas, truffles, festive treats and a unique two-day workshop devoted to food styling and photography are also part of the action-packed schedule, and sweet-toothed cooks are already signing up for the 10-session cake and cupcake course, led by Dima Sharif, which starts in November.
All morning or evening Miele Cookery School include hands-on practical guidance and eat what you cook, and start from AED 400 per person; price available on request).
The luxurious Miele Gallery showcases the brand’s wide-range of high-end, state-of-the-art appliances on the lower floor, and includes a mezzanine level perfectly furnished to host a number of events from product launching and demonstrations, a fully equipped, four hands on, cooking station for which can be booked for private cooking sessions, fashion shows, art exhibitions, and team bonding sessions.
